Sebago 1946 Boots
Matt from Sebago dropped by the shop and blew me away with these limited edition 1946 collection boots. These go perfect with denim! Sebago originally made these for boatbuilders. What will you build in yours? I'm gonna build a bourbon drink. Look for them in November. Better yet, call me and I'll set a pair aside for you.

10 hours or 1,000 miles
Brothers Paul and Jim came to town for the Petit Le Mans roadrace in Braselton last weekend. Paul brought his beautiful girlfriend Alison (sporting her new Billykirk game bag) and Jim brought his beautiful 1959 356. It is my feeling that this vehicle should be parked in front of the shop every weekend. The race was exciting, one of the fastest on record, Ferrari ran out of gas with two turns left allowing Corvette to take the class!

Woodland Treasures
This was love at first site. Jack and I go on antler shed hunts each year on Woodland Farm and find all sorts of skulls and bones. These skulls were made by designer Christine Facella of Beetle & Flor. The North American Wildlife collection is inspired by her work as a science illustrator for the Vertebrate Paleontology department at the Museum of Natural History in New York.

Almost There!
We are getting closer to opening--waiting on a few more pieces of furniture, getting stuff unloaded, and hoping to get some art on the walls. We also need to get the front porch painted--it is a little dreary. At least you can now get a sense of the space, and we are official (our sign is up!). We appreciate all the interest and hope to meet some of you soon.

Vintage Racers
Jack and I attended the Super Bike Showdown at Road Atlanta. These bikes were a few of our favorites. I must have a 76 Bultaco Astro!
